Words on this page
Bonfire line: a row of fires you add logs to. Brazier: a portable fire, if the game still has it. Wintertodt: the Old School cold boss. Not this page.
Unlock
Bring a tinderbox and logs. A portable brazier only helps if it is still in the game. There is no Wintertodt on this page.

Inventory
Wear a firemaking outfit if you own it. Bring a tinderbox. Not a pyromancer coat. Bring only what this method uses. Leave the spare gear in the bank.
Money fork
Usually you buy the levels. Magic and elder logs cost coins. Check the wiki. Do not buy a Wintertodt crate plan.
Iron fork
If you cannot buy the supplies, gather them yourself. Stay on the earlier step until you have them.
Kit
Wear a firemaking outfit if you own it. Bring a tinderbox. Not a pyromancer coat.
Mistakes
Do not put Wintertodt on this page. Do not light magic logs one by one with no line.
Stop
Stop when you have the level you came for. A quest, a prayer, or a weapon. Level 99 is a cape. You do not need it to use the skill.
Official notes
XP rates move. Use the live wiki for the number. This page is the route.
