Words on this page
Revolution: the bar that casts for you. Splash: standing so a spell misses. It is not a method. Spellbook: the set of spells a place may demand.
Unlock
The normal spellbook is enough to start. Ancients and Lunar want their quests. A staff tier follows your Magic level. Revolution can fire the bar for you.

- Cast air and water spells with Revolution on.

- Leave
- Leave high alchemy until you have items worth selling.
Mid
- Method
- Use the spellbook the task wants.
- Place
- Stand on the Slayer task.

- Leave
- Leave splash worlds behind.
Late
- Method
- Stay on Slayer with a real staff and the right book.
- Place
- Stand where the task is.
- Click
- Click the bar, and switch books when the place asks.

Inventory
Wear power armour you can repair. Wear a Slayer helmet on a task. Use a staff of your tier. Keep runes in a pouch. Bring only what this method uses. Leave the spare gear in the bank.
Money fork
Runes are the bill. Slayer pays some of it back. Check the wiki. Do not buy a top staff just to splash.
Iron fork
If you cannot buy the supplies, gather them yourself. Stay on the earlier step until you have them.
Kit
Wear power armour you can repair. Wear a Slayer helmet on a task. Use a staff of your tier. Keep runes in a pouch.
Mistakes
Do not splash and call it training. Do not walk into a dungeon with the wrong spellbook.
Stop
Stop when you have the level you came for. A quest, a prayer, or a weapon. Level 99 is a cape. You do not need it to use the skill.
Official notes
XP rates move. Use the live wiki for the number. This page is the route.
