Secondary: the extra item in the potion. Overload: a late combat potion. It wants high Herblore. Portable well: a placeable well, if the game still has them.
Unlock
Druidic Ritual starts you. A secondary is the extra item a potion needs. Overloads and combination potions have their own levels.

Inventory
Wear a factory or botanist's outfit if you own it. A brooch helps if you use portable wells. The secondary stack matters more than the hat. Bring only what this method uses. Leave the spare gear in the bank.
Money fork
Herbs and secondaries are the bill. Overloads can pay if you drink them. Check the wiki. A level 120 buy with no secondaries is not a plan.
Iron fork
If you cannot buy the supplies, gather them yourself. Stay on the earlier step until you have them.
Kit
Wear a factory or botanist's outfit if you own it. A brooch helps if you use portable wells. The secondary stack matters more than the hat.
Mistakes
Do not buy herbs for 120 with no secondaries. Do not paste an Old School super combat recipe on this page.
Stop
Stop when you have the level you came for. A quest, a prayer, or a weapon. Level 99 is a cape. You do not need it to use the skill.
